Every eligible vehicle sold at Mattheos Ioannou Motors comes with a 24-month engine warranty — plus a complimentary first service carried out by us before you drive away.
What the Warranty Covers
The Mattheos Approved Warranty covers engine faults only. If a mechanical problem develops with your engine under normal use during the warranty period, we will work with our approved mechanics to diagnose and resolve the issue under warranty terms.

Your First Service — Included Free Before Pickup
Before you collect your vehicle, our team carries out a full first service on every car we sell. This first service is included in your purchase price — there is nothing extra to pay. It is completed at our showroom by our team before you drive away.

Our 2 Approved Partner Mechanics
After your free first service, all ongoing servicing and any warranty-related repairs must be carried out by one of our two approved partner mechanics. You will find their details on the service card placed inside your vehicle.
Taking the vehicle to any other garage without our written approval will void the warranty.

Your Vehicle Service Card
When you purchase a vehicle from us, a service card is placed inside the vehicle. This card shows:
- The name and contact details of your two approved mechanics
- The start date and end date of your 24-month warranty
- Your vehicle details (make, model, registration)
- Instructions on what to do if a problem arises
Keep the service card in your vehicle at all times. If it is lost, contact us and we will provide a replacement.
How Servicing Works After Your First Service
Routine servicing after the initial pre-delivery service is the customer's responsibility. To keep the warranty valid you must use one of our two approved partner mechanics.
Purchase your vehicle
Your vehicle is serviced by Mattheos Ioannou Motors before pickup. No extra cost — it's included.
Collect your car
You receive the vehicle and the service card with your approved mechanics' details inside.
Book your next service
When your car is due for service, contact one of the two approved mechanics directly. You pay for this service normally.
Report an engine issue
If an engine fault arises during the 24-month warranty period, contact us first. We will direct you to the correct approved mechanic for diagnosis and warranty assessment.

Warranty FAQ
Does the warranty cover the gearbox?
No. The warranty covers the engine only. The gearbox and transmission are not included.
Does the warranty cover electrical problems?
No. Electrical faults including sensors, ECUs, wiring, and infotainment are not covered.
Is the first service really free?
Yes. Every vehicle receives a complimentary first service carried out by Mattheos Ioannou Motors before you collect the car. This is included in the purchase price at no extra cost.
Can I go to any garage for servicing?
No. To keep the warranty valid, servicing and warranty repairs must be done by one of our two approved partner mechanics. Their details are on the service card in your vehicle.
What do I do if I lose my service card?

When does the warranty start?
The 24-month warranty starts from the vehicle delivery date, as noted on your purchase documents.
Does the warranty cover tyre or brake wear?
No. Wear-and-tear items such as tyres, brake pads, discs, clutch, filters, and fluids are not covered.
